Pidgin formerly named as Gaim is a multi-protocol, free and open source instant messaging client. Using Pidgin you cGaiman log in to multiple accounts on multiple IM networks simultaneously like MSN Messenger, Yahoo, ICQ, IR, Gadu-Gadu and Jabber. Pidgin supports all standard featurs of a instant messaging client such as typing notification, away messages, MSN window closing notification and file transfer. The Pidgin messenger runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux / Unix operating systems.
