I thought since Windows 7 came out that I should post about all the programs and drivers that work and dont work.

Symantec Endpoint Security - Weird Problems, it installs correctly and runs, but windows says it isnt compatible, also makes the entire computer crash for some reason.
So Far almost all my drivers work except for my speakers.
for some reason I cant update the driver, if I use the out of the box driver it works fine, but if I update it, Windows wont detect my speakers. oh I am using Windows 7 on my laptop.

Winamp, Last.fm, SMPlayer, and my Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse software all work too.
Edit: My onboard sound driver doesn’t work properly though, using the vista drivers, I can only get the front channels to work. No Surround sound… Booo!

I think the official statement as to when they’re releasing Windows 7 commercially was that it wouldn’t be out until they got it right (probably due to all the flak they got from Vista during it’s release).
Also got my surround working, I had to uninstall my motherboard’s audio driver and go with the generic one Microsoft made. Not as many features, but the driver does the trick.
